Hollow Lantern

Hollow Lantern is a quiet, atmospheric adventure that trusts you to pay attention. You explore an abandoned coastal town, piecing together what happened through objects, notes, and clever environmental puzzles. There's no combat and no timers — just a slow, absorbing mystery.

The art is gorgeous, all muted blues and warm lantern glow, and the ambient sound design pulled me in completely. Puzzles are logical rather than obtuse; I only got properly stuck once, and the built-in hint system nudged me without spoiling anything.

It's a short game, maybe four hours, but it's the kind of experience that lingers. I finished it in one long offline sitting and thought about it for days.
