Neon Drift Club nails the feel of a good arcade racer. It's all about chaining drifts through neon-lit corners, building your boost, and threading traffic at ridiculous speeds. The tilt controls are optional — I stuck with the on-screen buttons and never felt disadvantaged.
There's a decent career mode with car upgrades and a bunch of unlockable tracks, all available offline. Progression is generous and never gated behind waiting timers, which is refreshing for the genre.
The soundtrack alone is worth the download. Put your headphones in and it becomes a genuinely hypnotic experience during a long commute.
